Responding to the Emotional Tears of Children and Adolescents is an engaging professional development session that explores emotional expression across developmental stages. Participants will examine how children and adolescents communicate distress through crying, understand tears as part of emotional regulation, and learn practical, evidence-informed strategies to respond in supportive, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed ways that foster safe, compassionate, and responsive environments.
