With 23 years of experience as a high school counselor, Brandi Cosgrove possesses extensive expertise in academic advising, college and career counseling, crisis intervention, social-emotional learning, and the development of comprehensive school counseling programs. Throughout her career, Brandi has supported students at all stages of their educational journey and consistently advocated for the critical role of school counselors in promoting student success.
Brandi’s leadership experience includes eight years on the Board of the Ohio School Counselor Association from 2010 to 2018, during which she advanced into the presidential track. In this capacity, she contributed to statewide advocacy initiatives in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Education and Ohio legislators. Brandi rejoined the Board of Directors in January 2026 and will serve through 2029. Additionally, from 2020 to 2022, she served as Secretary and Delegate on the Executive Board of the Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling, further advancing efforts in college access, professional leadership, and counselor advocacy.
