The Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) has developed an Ohio model training to educate school and LE members of the Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (BTAM) team, of which the School Counselor plays an important role. This session will be an overview of the full training which is offered FREE of charge by the OSSC and meets the 3-year renewal training for HB 123 SAVE Students Act. Come and learn how to address threats to your school communities through an Ohio focused lens. Examples of school incidents in Ohio will be shared as we learn from our past to protect our future.
