In a small school where leadership opportunities mostly present themselves through athletics, Student Council or NHS - there is a need for a different type of opportunity for students. As school counselors, we have the unique ability to target working with students from all different parts of the academic spectrum. We believe that the relationships we create with kids can foster trust and encourage our kids to step out of their comfort zone to be a part of something different. We were able to create a leadership group that relies heavily on the students’ individual talents and passions.
