Mike Griffis has served with the Solon Police Department since 2004 and has been a member of the SEALE SWAT team since 2008. He was assigned to the SEALE Narcotics Task Force (SNTF) in 2012 and became its Commander in 2015. He also serves as a Task Force Officer (TFO) with the FBI/CGNL Task Force. The SNTF is responsible for the Southeast portion of Cuyahoga County, representing approximately 110,000 residents and including the cities of Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, Bedford Heights, Bedford, Oakwood, Solon, and Walton Hills. Griffis holds a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Kent State University.
