Dr. Kristin Dolph is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Educator, and Researcher with a doctorate, serving Miami County and surrounding areas. She owns Dolph Counseling & Wellness, LLC and provides trauma-informed counseling. Dr. Dolph specializes in treating deep emotional wounds from unhealthy relational and developmental traumas, particularly for individuals often labeled as “people pleasers,” “self-sabotagers,” or “Reactive/Sensitive.” She applies a Humanistic-Gestalt theoretical lens to help clients recognize and accept the connection between their emotions and physical sensations, and incorporates techniques from Psychodynamic, Jungian, IFS, EMDR, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Dr. Dolph’s clinical experience includes psychiatric inpatient care, crisis assessment in psychiatric and correctional settings, intensive outpatient group therapy, and school-based therapy. She also serves as an Adjunct Psychology Instructor at Edison State Community College and teaches in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate programs at the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and the University of Toledo. Dr. Dolph earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in 2018 and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University in 2024.
