Supervision is an influential piece of professional development and a necessity in the counseling profession. However, even well-intentioned supervision can leave students, new licensees, and supervisors feeling stuck, stunted, or even burdened. Given the many factors connected to successful supervision, there is a way to notice challenges early and confront potential issues. This presentation is meant to show students, counselors, supervisors, and educators how they can notice and embody "Self" energy while in supervision to cultivate a safe and therapeutic space for growth and learning.
