Human Trafficking causes lasting psychological wounds in survivors who would benefit from specialized care and tailored treatment to restore their sense of humanity. Presenters will share ways to use foundational humanistic theory principles to provide simple and accessible interventions that are so often overlooked yet enhance quality of mental health treatment for survivors of Human Trafficking. Attendees will learn at least 3 practical techniques they can implement to help restore Human Trafficking survivors’ autonomy, confidence and sense of resiliency within their lives.
