Dr. Julie Mansfield's research primarily focuses on understanding and preventing pediatrics injury. Specifically, Dr. Mansfield is interested in the performance and fit of child restraint systems (CRS) in vehicles, trends in pediatric car crash injuries, and understanding how caregivers learn about and interact with CRS. She works closely with industry leaders within the Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies (CChIPS) and collaborates with industry representatives to develop cutting-edge research ideas with results that can be directly translated into industry applications.
