Lauren is an accomplished transportation planner and certified Roadway Safety Professional (RSP1) with over a decade of experience advancing multimodal mobility and roadway safety initiatives. She holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has worked in both the public and private sectors. She is currently a Senior Transportation Planner with Burgess & Niple here in Columbus. Prior to joining B&N in 2025, she served as the Active Transportation and Safety Program Manager at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), where she led regional efforts to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries. Lauren has a strong background in stakeholder engagement, interagency coordination, and data-driven safety analysis. She is an expert in advancing safe, multimodal transportation solutions through strategic planning and collaboration.
