Growing up in Appalachian Ohio and having a multidisciplinary educational background, Sam Smith brings a unique perspective to public service and urban planning. Even early in Sam's career, he has gained wide-ranging experiences in public service, urban planning, research, and higher education.

As an Associate Planner in Active Transportation and Safety at MORPC, Sam Smith is eager to channel a passion for mental and physical health, sustainability, and community well-being to advance environmental, social, and economic progress in Central Ohio.
