Michelle May has been part of the ODOT team for more than 35 years, serving in communication and program management roles. Today, Michelle is proud to lead one of the largest Highway Safety Programs in the country, which provides $183 million annually to assist state and local governments in improving safety on Ohio roads.

Michelle also leads a statewide committee (Ohio's Strategic Highway Safety Plan) of engineers, law enforcement officers, emergency responders, health departments and educators that work together to drive down traffic deaths and serious injuries statewide.
