While traffic safety efforts largely focus on preventing crashes in the first place, Post-Crash care is a valuable pillar of the Safe System Approach because it can help reduce fatalities from those crashes. This session will provide a primer on EMS’s role in traffic safety and how traffic safety professional can work with EMS providers to help increase survivability from serious-injury crashes.
