Bryan Kloss serves as the Operations Manager for the Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management in Ohio, where he plays a key leadership role in coordinating regional preparedness, response, and recovery operations. In this role, he supports the county’s Emergency Operations Center and works closely with local, state, and federal partners to manage complex incidents, large-scale exercises, and disaster planning efforts.

Kloss is widely recognized as an accomplished emergency management professional and a forward-thinking leader who has helped advance several innovative public safety initiatives throughout Northeast Ohio. His work has supported the development and coordination of programs such as Rescue Task Force (RTF) response models, homeland security preparedness initiatives, regional training exercises, and the integration of emerging technologies, including unmanned aerial systems (drones) into emergency operations. Through collaborative planning and multi-agency training, he has helped strengthen the region’s ability to respond effectively to complex incidents and mass-casualty events.
