Armed School Staff Essential Training (ASSET). The ASSET program is comprised of two core training courses, the initial, 24-hour certification course (ASSET-24) and the annual, 8-hour requalification course (ASSET-8). To support school wanting additional training for an individual, the OSSC offers numerous additional courses which build upon the foundation of ASSET.
