Betsy Kordes is the Lead Conference Planner and Educational Programming Coordinator for the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH). In this capacity, she oversees large-scale professional events, technology outreach initiatives, and academic conferences throughout Ohio. She is also the primary project lead for initiatives such as the Universe of Opportunity, which showcases virtual reality, gaming, and simulation technologies in higher education.
