Heidi Steyer has served as a school counselor at the high school for 19 years. During the first 15 years, her responsibilities centered on college and career readiness, post-secondary options, College Credit Plus (CCP), scheduling, graduation planning, and related duties. Four years ago, Mrs. Steyer transitioned to a role focused specifically on social-emotional learning, individual counseling, small group facilitation, and coordination of the Freshman Mentoring Program. This role enables the implementation of state mandates, fosters a positive school culture and connectedness, and supports interventions for all students.
