This session explores the prevalence and school-based impact of adolescent disordered eating and body image concerns. Presenters will examine contributing factors, warning signs, and systemic influences through a multicultural lens, highlighting how culture, identity, and stigma shape experiences. Emphasis will be placed on collaborative roles of LSCs, LPCs, teachers, and families, along with practical assessment tools, ethical considerations, and advocacy strategies to promote early identification, equitable access to care, and hope for a healthy future.
