This presentation explores how school counselors can strengthen PBIS practices by intentionally integrating various restorative practices, with a focus on different types of restorative circles. Participants will examine how relationship-centered approaches foster a sense of belonging, improve student behavior, and build a more inclusive school climate. By aligning restorative strategies with PBIS frameworks, counselors can move beyond compliance-based discipline toward meaningful accountability, student voice, and community building. Practical tools, examples, and implementation strategies will be shared to support both classroom and schoolwide use.
