This session will illustrate an innovative partnership between counselor training programs and school districts aimed at supporting middle school students facing challenges due to lack of motivation and family support. The intervention strategies incorporate the principles of Career Construction, Social Cognitive Career Development, and a Hope-Based approach. These strategies help students understand themselves in relation to learning and future careers, and develop skills to navigate changes and overcome barriers for future career readiness.
