This session will guide participants through free skills-based, tier-1, early intervention programs that meet HB 123/SAVE Students Act requirements for suicide prevention & violence prevention to provide lasting positive effects in students’ well-being. Recent reports on youth mental health show that 1 in 3 youth experience poor mental health, 1 in 5 have seriously considered suicide, and 1 in 10 have attempted suicide. Schools are uniquely positioned to support students and play a crucial role in providing students with quality education and safe and supportive environments.
