Stereotypically, Gen Z is said to be “too soft”, often “coddled”, or “entitled”, but is this really the case? This generation of individuals have big dreams and goals but often have difficulties reaching their full potential due to barriers that may be out of their control. On the flip side, they do face some issues that are completely within their control and it’s our job to assist them with navigating this in the most effective manner. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss these issues from the lens of the Gen Z counselor.
