Special Agent Ethan Simms grew up on the east side of Cincinnati. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2013. His law enforcement career began as a patrol officer, working on the east side of Hamilton County. In 2017, he graduated with his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. Chasing a childhood dream of becoming a special agent for the federal government, he was hired by the United States Secret Service in 2018 and assigned to the Dayton office. In 2022, the Secret Service moved him to Dallas, Texas, to serve on the George Bush Detail. In March of 2023, he began working for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI) as a Lexington Domicile special agent. He covers the eastern half of Kentucky and the southern part of Ohio.
