Eric R. Schroeder is President and CEO of CDF Capital, a role he assumed on July 1, 2021, following the retirement of Dusty Rubeck. He has been involved with CDF Capital since 2010 as a board member and brings over 33 years of experience in commercial banking and financial services. Schroeder co-founded CrossFirst Bank in Leawood, Kansas, where he held several leadership roles, most recently Managing Director of Institutional Banking. His previous experience includes positions at UMB Bank, Boatmen's First National Bank, Community Bank President at Bank 10, and bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University. Under his leadership, CDF Capital manages hundreds of millions in assets, providing lending, financial investments, and leadership guidance to independent Christian churches nationwide. Schroeder and his wife, Julie, have a lifelong involvement with the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.
