Dr. Kübra Civan is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Quincy University. She prepares future counselors through teaching, mentorship, and scholarship. Dr. Civan holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Ohio University and maintains professional credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed School Counselor (LSC), and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She received the Chi Sigma Iota Edwin L. Herr Fellowship for Excellence in Counseling Leadership and Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to mentorship and academic excellence.

She is committed to integrating experiential learning into counselor education and supporting students’ professional and personal growth throughout their training.
