Sam Windler is licensed in Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). Sam has taught undergraduate addictions counseling courses and has over five years of experience in addiction services. As a person in long-term recovery and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Sam has worked with diverse clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Sam is currently a doctoral student in counselor education and supervision, with research focused on supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals with substance use disorders. Sam has also completed continuing education with NAADAC (the Association for Addiction Professionals) on serving this population.
