Mary Steiner Iiames has over 31 years of experience as a public school counselor and has spent the past decade teaching Legal & Ethical Issues in Counseling to master's students. Mary has delivered ethics trainings for local agencies, the Ohio Counseling Association, the All-Ohio Counselors Conference, the 11th Annual Law & Ethics Conference in New Orleans, and the ACA Ethics Summit. Mary also serves as an ethics consultant for counselors in private and community mental health settings, and works with attorneys to interpret and apply state laws to counseling practice, addressing conflicts between legal requirements and ethical standards.
