This pre-conference workshop prepares counselors to respond ethically and competently to growing interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Attendees will explore the emerging clinical landscape, clarify legal and ethical boundaries of counselor practice, and examine screening, referral, preparation, integration, and documentation considerations. Using realistic cases, participants will apply decision-making tools that emphasize client safety, multicultural humility, scope of practice, and practical steps for ethical readiness without exceeding training or regulatory limits.
