This session introduces updated ethical guidelines for counselors using artificial intelligence (AI). Building on preliminary guidelines developed by the lead presenter, the presenters integrate feedback solicited from expert reviewers, AI platforms, emerging research, and alignment with the latest version of the ACA Code of Ethics. Attendees will become familiar with the revised practical & ethically grounded guidelines for integrating AI into counseling practice while protecting client welfare, confidentiality, and professional integrity in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
