Clinical supervision is central to counselor development but is often grounded in rational-analytic, competency-based models. While essential for skill assessment and client safety, these may not fully address emotional and meaning-making processes. This presentation introduces a Whole Brain Supervision framework integrating cognitive/evaluative methods with creative techniques (metaphor, imagery, arts-based reflection) to enhance insight, emotion processing, and professional identity.. Ethical considerations, supervisor competency, and integration strategies are addressed.
