D3 – Conceptualizing the Human Person: An Introduction to Thomistic Psychology in Counseling
This session introduces participants to Thomistic psychology and a Catholic Christian Meta-Model of the human person as a framework for holistic case conceptualization. Understanding and emphasizing that the human person is an integrated unity of body and soul the model helps counselors conceptualize their clients across diverse Christian contexts. Attendees will explore how this framework supports ethical integration of spirituality and religion in counseling practice, consistent with ACA competencies and CACREP standards.
