Grief and mourning are universal human experiences. However, the ways individuals understand, express, and integrate loss are deeply shaped by culture. Moreover, many theoretical frameworks may unintentionally overlook culturally grounded practices of mourning. This training invites counselors to expand their understanding of grief through a multicultural lens.
