D6 – Preparing Ohio’s Behavioral Health Workforce for Psychedelic Crisis and Continuing Care

This session presents the Psychedelic Emergency, Acute, and Continuing Care Education (P.E.A.C.E.) Program, a statewide workforce development initiative. Presenters will review current research on psychedelic mechanisms and clinical applications, trends in use nationally and in Ohio, and core principles for distinguishing psychedelic related crises from psychiatric conditions. Preliminary implementation insights and participant outcomes will be shared to inform scalable workforce training models.
