Each year, licensed counselors face disciplinary action from state licensure boards for violating ethical and legal standards of practice. The purpose of this presentation is to provide an understanding of counselor liability risk. Attendees will leave with information on current research and data, as well as ethical and legal considerations, and risk management recommendations.
