This presentation will explore work trauma experienced counselors, highlighting its distinctiveness from vicarious trauma. Work trauma arises from systemic workplace stressors, including excessive caseloads, inadequate supervision, bullying, harassment, ethical conflicts, and organizational neglect, significantly affecting counselor well-being and professional efficacy. Attendees will gain insight into recognizing work trauma, learn practical approaches to manage organizational stressors, and acquire tools to enhance counselor resilience and ethical practice.
