B3 – Improving Mental Health Through Physical Wellness
In this session we will explore how mental health outcomes are linked to physical wellness. We will discuss current topics in research and literature on cellular health and brain health as it relates to nutritional intake, light, sleep, physical movement, hormone health, stress, and inflammation. The presenter will also share methods for incorporating discussions on these topics into your counseling practice, as well as strategies to support clients in an ethical and responsible manner.
