B2 – Ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI) Framework for Mental Health Practice and Client Wellbeing
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a reality that comprises of both opportunities and complexities for client wellbeing. Although AI has the potential to improve documentation, assessment, client engagement and training, it also poses significant ethical concerns given that current ACA and other mental health disciplines ethical codes were developed prior to the ubiquity of its use. The presenter will draw from various mental health related ethical codes and offer a framework that counselor can use to navigate the implementation of AI responsibly and ethically.
