Recognizing the significant challenges and barriers brought on by systemic oppression for Assigned Female At Birth (AFAB), fem-presenting, and Queer folx is essential in providing competent and ethical care. As clinicians, we have a responsibility to be informed about relevant political and social policies which affect these communities in order to empower with/for clients to promote resilience, resist oppression, and celebrate queer joy.
