P6 – Grief and Ethical Responsibility: Diagnosing Complicated Grief and Knowing When to Refer
This training will provide an overview of ethical considerations relevant to grief support. Specifically, this training will examine the difference between grief counseling and grief therapy and ethical considerations in determining when to use each. Additionally, specific attention will be drawn to ethical considerations in diagnosing and considering complicated grief and ethical concerns regarding the inclusion of Prolonged Grief Disorder in the newest iteration in the DSM.
