Participants will learn practical, hands-on strategies for assessment and intervention with suicidal individuals that can be used in any practice setting. The presentation is based on models for assessment and intervention that have been developed and published by the presenters and are grounded in research, but are intended to be highly practical. The audience for the presentation is advanced clinicians, and the workshop will provide necessary skills for culturally and developmentally appropriate risk assessments and intervention guidelines to make ethical and clinically-sound decisions.
