Stacey Diane Arañez Litam (she, her, siya) Ph.D., LPCCs, NCC, CCMHC, is an Associate Professor of Counselor Education at Cleveland State University, a licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor, as well as a diplomate and clinical sexologist with the American Board of Sexology. Dr. Litam is a member of the Forbes Health Advisory Board and a mental health advisory council member with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Minority Fellowship Program. Dr. Litam's speaking, research, and clinical areas of specialization include topics related to mental health and sexual well-being, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), as well as Asian American concerns. Her work has been featured in Forbes Health, National Public Radio (NPR), Discovery Magazine, and in podcasts, documentaries, and news outlets. She has over 50 academic publications including 17 articles and 3 book chapters on topics related to deconstructing sexual shame, sexuality counseling, and human sex trafficking. Dr. Litam’s 2022 research article was the first to identify the demographics and sexual attitudes of OnlyFans users and the findings have been featured in PsyPost and Psychology Today. Dr. Litam has facilitated hundreds of keynotes, workshops, and trainings for companies, universities, agencies, and associations and her work has resulted in a total of 15 national and 12 state/regional awards. She is an immigrant and identifies as a Chinese and Filipina American woman.
