According to the National Eating Disorders Association, around 30 million individuals in the United States will develop an eating disorder in their lifetime. This presentation will provide attendees with a baseline understanding of how to support individuals who have symptoms of an eating disorder within their scope of practice and practical interventions to implement. Attendees will work toward understanding the complexity of eating disorders through interactive discussions, activities, and psycho-education.
