S9 — K-6 Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
Description
The session raises awareness about Ohio’s Senate Bill 288 mandates that require elementary schools to provide K-6 child sexual abuse prevention education. It also provides information about the impacts of child sexual abuse and shares research based resources and strategies that are proactive in the fight against child sexual abuse. Lastly, it includes how to address the in-person as well as online dangers that threaten our children. Participants are engaged in activities, open dialogue, and peer sharing while having access to hand-outs and practical resources that are easily implemented.
