Description
The population of "out" LGBTQ+ individuals in the US is growing, and its vital for helping professionals to understand the history of and challenges this group experiences. This training aims to grow and understanding of the history, setbacks, and successes of LGBTQIA+ folks, understand how mental health and substance abuse affect this population, understand the spectrums of gender identity and sexuality, discuss common microaggressions, and learn how to best improve allyship.
