Trauma is ubiquitous in clinical practice. DBT is an evidence-based model for treating BPD, a condition often stemming from exposure to trauma. This session will introduce strategies for integrating DBT with trauma-focused models of care. Participants will receive a trauma-focused DBT Diary Card for use in clinical practice. Themes of multiculturalism and social justice will be incorporated throughout the session, with specific attention to intersectionality around race, class, and gender.
