The Ohio Department of Medicaid launched OhioRISE, a new, statewide managed care program designed to support children and youth with complex behavioral health needs. Goals for the program are as outlined: reducing custody relinquishment, reducing unnecessary hospitalizations, decreasing involvement with the juvenile justice and corrections systems, reducing out-of-home placements, and improving school attendance and performance. Session attendees will learn about the vision of the program, how to refer youth to determine eligibility, and understand the care coordination process.
