The prefrontal cortex is responsible for executive functioning skills such as attention, organization, planning, and working memory. This presentation will explore strategies to activate the thinking brain and promote executive functioning skills in middle school through high school aged students. We will discuss the latest research on the prefrontal cortex and its role in executive functioning, as well as practical strategies to build EF skills.
