This presentation will explore the components of effective collaboration between school counselors and clinical counselors to better support transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth and their families. Presenters will highlight unique opportunities this partnership can provide and offer practical recommendations, action steps, and ready-to-use resources for counselors to utilize across diverse settings. This presentation will feature the Family Acceptance Project, Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies, and current legislative advocacy needs.
