This session provides an overview of how to use art to elevate School Counseling lessons, techniques and other skills to teach students. I will include information about many resources that School Counselors can use in their practices such as children's books, art supplies and techniques for teaching exploration through these hands-on materials. We will also complete a hands-on activity. Teaching skills through an artistic approach provides students and staff with a creative outlet to express emotions, issues and find solutions through a hands-on process of learning.
