Utilizing discussion groups with educators, participants will learn strategies about how they can support their staff in improving mental health, developing cultural humility and creating an atmosphere of personal growth and learning. Discussion topics will cover a range of themes including self reflection, building resilience, cultural humility, how racism affects the body, and teaching practices and strategies that create culturally responsive classrooms. Participants will receive a framework that will empower them to implement successful discussion groups at the building level.
